Why Gulmarg

Gulmarg is a 90-minute drive from Srinagar and home to one of the highest cable cars in the world. Phase 1 climbs to Kongdoori; Phase 2 continues to Apharwat ridge at nearly 4,000 metres — snowfields even in summer.

What we arrange

Gondola tickets booked before you land (Phase 2 sells out fast in season), ski instructors and gear rental in winter, ponies and sledge operators at fixed fair rates, and day trips or overnight stays at hotels near the market or the meadow.

Good to know

Carry sunglasses and sunscreen for the snow glare. In peak winter the road above Tangmarg can require 4x4 vehicles — we plan for this so you are not stranded haggling.
